This Privacy Policy describes how personal data is collected and processed through the website https://satmatprep.com (hereinafter: “the Service”).

1. Data Controller

The controller of your personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) is Piotr Adamczewski, an individual residing in Sosnowiec, Poland (hereinafter: \u201Cthe Controller\u201D).

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following data through the Service:

email address (during registration or Google sign-in);
display name chosen by the user;
math practice results (answers, correctness, response time);
ELO ranking (duel mode score);
usage analytics data (Vercel Analytics).

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

Personal data may be processed based on:

performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — providing the Service, registration, login, SAT practice, duels, progress tracking;
consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — processing data beyond service delivery;
legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — proper functioning of the Service, analytics, defense against claims.

4. Data Sharing

Data may be shared with the following third parties:

Supabase Inc. (USA) — data storage, authentication, database;
Vercel Inc. (USA) — Service hosting and analytics;
Google LLC (USA) — authentication via Google OAuth;
OpenAI Inc. (USA) — AI tutor functionality (only question content and answers are processed, with no personally identifying data).

When data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the Controller ensures an appropriate level of data protection in accordance with GDPR.

5. Data Retention

Personal data is processed for the duration of the account’s existence. After account deletion, data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Data processed based on consent will be stored until consent is withdrawn.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

right of access to your data (Art. 15);
right to rectification (Art. 16);
right to erasure (Art. 17);
right to restriction of processing (Art. 18);
right to data portability (Art. 20);

7. Data Security

The Controller implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. The Service uses encrypted HTTPS connections, secure authentication (Supabase Auth), and restricted database access (Row Level Security).

8. Minors

The Service is intended for students preparing for the SAT exam. Users under 16 should use the Service with parental or guardian consent. The Controller does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

The Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. The current version is always available on this page.
